Individual therapy is often the best approach to addressing typical problems of living, including problems with mood (depression, anxiety), trouble establishing and maintaining successful relationships, getting along with a boss, self esteem, and excessive worry or fearfulness. We can offer highly individualized approaches, and really let you dig into the complexities of your life and challenges. We offer shorter term problem-focused approaches, as well as longer term in-depth work to delve into the roots of your problems. We also offer a range of services designed to address the needs of the LGBTQ+ community.
Support Groups
We offer a number of support groups such as Coping Skills for Millenials that lets you explore the common stressors of “adulting,”. This group can help you with the challenges of identifying your longer term goals and helping you to shape your adult life. Should you realize you want further help beyond the scope of the group, our individual therapists are ready to help you with making difficult decisions about your career or relationships.
Another popular support group, Thinking About the Rest of Your Life is for mid-life clients who are facing signs of aging, wondering about how to adjust careers as you reach your original goals (or don’t), and exploring the pleasures and losses of being empty nesters. We explore the freedom of being middle aged (or beyond) as well as the challenges of having increasing aches and pains. Whether you’re worried about how to maintain or adjust your life-work balance or about setting new goals for your future, this lively interactive group is here to help.
